1. 1 TECHNICAL DATA SHEET REABILITA CAL RB NATURAL HYDRAULIC LIME LEVELLING RE NDER 1. DESCRIPTION REABILITA CAL RB is a dry mortar, exclusively formulated from Natural Hydraulic Lime. It incorporates carefully selected siliceous and calcareous aggregates and additions , having particular properties of thixotropy, adhesion, chemical resistan ce and durability particularly adapted to the intended purpose . REABILITA CAL RB is designed for sprayed ap plica tion , but may also be ap pli ed manual ly . 2. FIELD OF USE REABILITA CAL RB was special ly designed for the maintenance and re h abilita tion of buildi ngs , being suitable for the l evelling of old masonry or new constru ction . REABILITA CAL RB is a p pli ed as filling and l evelling layer in old substrate s consolida ted with REABILITA CAL CS , o r dire ctly on the substrate s when they have the appropriate physical and mechanical characteristics . Thus , REABILITA CAL RB may be a p pli ed to concrete and ceramic brick masonry o r concrete bloc k s o r stone masonry . The exclusive use of the Natural Hydraulic Lime binder and its special composition results in an excellent com patibility with the old substrate s, where not only the physical and mechanical compatibility stands out but also the high chemical compatibility . 3. PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS Powdered product Value Standard Granulometry < 3,5 mm - Paste product Val ue Standard M ixing water 17,0 ± 1,0 % - Theoretical consumption 12,0 kg/m2/cm - Hardened Product Val ue Standard Compressive strength Class CS II EN 1015 - 11 Adhesion to brick and block / Mode of fracture ≥ 0,2 MPa / B EN 1015 - 12 Modulus of elasticity 1750 - 2250 N/mm2 BS 1881 - 5

3. 3 TECHNICAL DATA SHEET REABILITA CAL RB NATURAL HYDRAULIC LIME LEVELLING RE NDER Seeing that there are specific situa tion s in each rehabilitation work , our Technical Services should be consulted when selecting the products . d) Restri ctions REABILITA CAL RB should not be a p pli ed at room and substrate temperatur e s below 5 °C and above 30 °C. It has a cur ing period of 28 days . In hot and/or dry weather or when substrate s are directly exposed to sunlight , the substrate should be previous ly wetted and application should only be started when it is dry . Under these conditions daily watering of the surfaces should be carried out, for one week, so as to keep renders permanently moist. Application in the presence of strong winds may cause rend er cracking. In such case, walls should be protected so as to minimize the effects of wind action . 5. PACKAGING AND VALIDITY Packaging 25 kg paper bags in plasticized pallets of 60 bags Valid ity 12 months provided the conditions of the original packa ging remain unaltered and in good storage conditions, protected from extreme temperature and humidity . 6. HEALTH AND SAFETY (DOES NOT REPLACE CONSULTATION OF THE PRODUCT SAFETY DATA SHEET )  Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin;  May cause sensi tization in contact with skin;  Do not breathe dust;  Avoid contact with skin and eyes;  If it comes in contact with eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water and seek a specialist advice;  Use protective clothing and appropriate gloves;  Keep out of c hildren’s reach .

2. 2 TECHNICAL DATA SHEET REABILITA CAL RB NATURAL HYDRAULIC LIME LEVELLING RE NDER Density 1500 ± 150 kg/m3 EN 1015 - 10 Capil l ari ty (24h) ≥ 0,3 kg/m2 EN 1015 - 18 Permeability to water vapour μ ≤ 15 EN 1015 - 19 Water penetration after capillarity test < 5,0 mm EN 1015 - 18 Reaction to fire Class A1 EN 988 - 1 Thermal conductivity 0,61 W/(m.K) (P=50%) NP EN 1745 4. A P PLICA TION a) Substrate preparation Substrate s prepar ed with REABILITA CAL CS mortar are able to receive REABILITA CAL RB. In the case of direct applicati on on substrate s in masonry , they should be cohesive, clean, without any type of material that affects the normal adhesion conditions . b) Mortar preparation REABILITA CAL BB should be m ixed in a projection equipment with pre - m ixing of the product. In m achi nes without automatic dosing of water, m ix REABILITA CAL RB , in the propor tion of 4,0 to 4,5 litre s of water p e r 25 kg bag . In machines with autom a tic dosing of water, adjust the mi nim um water flow to allow good workability . c) A p plica tion For ap plica tion of REABILITA CAL RB the good practices used in sprayed application renders should be carried out , providing for the tightening of the mortar , the trowelling , the use of reinforcements with SecilVit Rede 115 glass fibre mesh in stre ss concentra tion areas , such as , substrate transi tion s, angles of openings , c orners , etc., among other cares that are important for application su c cess. Layers with thicknesses of more than 2,0 cm or less than 1,0 cm should not be executed . The surface of REABILITA CAL RB should be fin ished with the tradit ional trowelling technique, p repar ing it to rece ive the finish with REABILITA CAL AC .
